Caregiver Crossing Podcast Launches with the Caregiver in Mind

A new podcast launched earlier this month specifically with the caregiver in mind. Why? Because one in three of us are caring for a loved one right now – and we can’t do it alone.

Caregiver Crossing is a podcast brought to you by Joy’s House, a nonprofit that serves adults living with life-altering diagnoses and their families by providing exceptional adult day and caregiver services. Caregiver Crossing is a 10-minute podcast that features experts from across the country who provide comfort, resources, and joy to caregivers. Co-hosted by Tina McIntosh and Terri Stacy, this podcast serves to embrace family caregivers of today and tomorrow.

More than 65 million people, 29% of the U.S. population, provide care for a chronically ill, disabled, or aged family member or friend during any given year and spend an average of 20 hours per week providing care for their loved one. If you are caring for someone you love, this podcast is for you.
Caregiver Crossing is a podcast designed for all of us who are caring for a loved one or who one day will be. Whether that care is provided for an aging parent, a child born with a lifelong disability or a friend undergoing treatment for cancer – we are all caregivers.

New episodes launch weekly on Monday mornings and can be heard on all major platforms, including iTunes, Google, iheart, Castbox, Pocket Casts, Radio Public, and Stitcher. Guest experts join McIntosh and Stacy each week to talk about a variety of trending caregiving topics. Listeners are invited to email questions and suggestions for future podcast episodes and to share personal experiences with McIntosh at tina@joyshouse.org
