How to Have Fun Beating Inflation!!

With the price of almost everything going up have you found that it has made you adopt changes in what you are buying? Are you putting things off longer? Are you doing without on adding things to your home you would like? Would you like a possible solution?

Personally, I will have a very difficult time ever buying anything new again. We have bought presents for others, and for ourselves. My biggest was a custom leather sectional couch that was maybe a couple years old that sold for 10,000.00, I got it for 700.00. An antique Craftsman rocking chair, that my daughter-in-law uses to nurse our grandkids when they are over for 10.00. I am a history nerd, and have added Civil War Minnie Ball bullets, a Civil War Doctor’s Saddlebags with the bottles of medicines in it, and an Offenhauser Piston that was in the Indy 500 race. Even picked up a snow blower for about ten cents on the dollar of a new one.

What would you want to find? I will warn you; it can be addicting. You can have a lot of fun, get great stuff, and save a TON of money. You can go onto CTBids and shop across the country for the smaller things that can be shipped to you, or find those awesome pieces of furniture, art, appliances, tools and more near your zip code.
